TMNT Exhibit at Liberty Science Center
We were invited to this event as media. |
First Off, Have you seen the action packed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Out Of The Shadows Movie yet? If not, You are surely missing out on fantastic stuff! However, mini turtle lovers who aren’t quite ready for the life-like moviewill be able to experience Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™: Secrets Of The Sewer™ Lair fun over at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City!
All my life, I always imagined getting to New Jersey from New York City by anything other than a car was disastrous and almost impossible… Boy was I wrong. It’s so easy to get there by just taking one of the Liberty Landing Ferries to the Liberty Landing stop and walk 15 minutes to the wonderful LSC. Getting there is a relaxing adventure all on it’s own. At $7 per adult, $5 for Children 7-12, and FREE for children 6 and under it is a nice addition to your LSC day.
As part of the event, we got to do a fun Meet & Greet with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Practice our grappling throws, pet some live turtles, eat some cheesy pizza, and get into our Ninja Fighting Stance!
Now let me tell you what you can do this summer… You and your family can visit the “underground” lair of your favorite shelled crime-fighters and enjoy hours of creative play as you leap into action and solve puzzles, mazes, and obstacles. Even us big kids (I Mean Parents…) got in on the fun of Shooting fake pizza at enemy targets.
The little ones were able to attempt navigating a rope maze without triggering alarms, and peer through the Street View Periscope to see Turtles on the NYC street above you. Then they got to crawl through fun sewer pipes to discover hidden artworks and practice skateboarding skills on balance board skateboards.
Aside from testing our knowledge of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ history in an interactive game, there was so much more to do!
Liberty Science Center is their first stop on the exhibition’s first-ever national tour. Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™: Secrets Of The Sewer™ exhibit will be at Liberty Science Center from now until September 5th 2016 and is included with general admission tickets ($21.75 for adults, $18.75 for seniors 62+, and $17.75 for children ages 2-12). Members and children under 2 are free!
To learn more about the Exhibit, visit the LSC site. It’s worth the Membership with all the exhibits coming up.
Will You be headed to the TMNT Exhibit before it’s gone?

What a cute event. The Liberty Science Center is one of my favorite spots to spend the day. Love the outdoor areas too.
That sounds really fun. I think my kids would really enjoy it.
This looks like such a blast! My son is a huge fan of TMNT (as I was as a kiddo!) and would be all over this!
This is awesome! Thanks for the details on how to get there btw! I grew up with TMNT, now my nephew is obsessed with them – he would love this, I'll definitely share with his mom as she's looking for fun summer activities for him.
I had no idea about this ferry service! Great tip. And the Liberty Science Center has been on my list for a while… looks like a lot of fun!
