What To Do With Your Cricut Infusible Ink Scraps!

Sharing is caring!

I don’t know about you all, but I always make sure to cut off any excess Cricut vinyl, Cricut Infusible Ink sheets, or any other materials prior to weeding my final image. Those leftover scraps are usually small so I like to do this and create fun new designs on our thrift store finds. Even the kids can help with this part!

Before I had the ease of using my amazing Cricut machines, I owned a few design hole punches for decorating scrapbook pages. Now I use those punches for punching out a couple of small shapes to use in bigger projects like fancying up my daughter’s new thrift jacket! For this simple homemade project, we used my Butterfly hole puncher.

I grabbed my scrap piece and started punching out a bunch of butterfly pieces to use on this jacket. Infusible ink works the best on Cricut Infusible ink products, but I wanted to give this little fashion design a try and hope for the best.

After I cut out a bunch of pieces, I placed the butterflies where I wanted and heated up my Easypress 2 machine to 380F for 40 seconds.

Once the Easypress beeps, I let the images cool before pulling off the transfer and parchment paper.

Voila! Now my kiddo has a revamped jean jacket and it’s perfect for the nicer days ahead!

How do you use up your scraps?
