We were invited to this event as media. Attendees received gift bags and full day passes for attending. This is a sponsored post, however all opinions are still 100% our own. |
It’s no surprise that our family absolutely loves the Liberty Science Center and we eagerly await each new exhibit and get so excited to see which one appears. This time, we were invited to come and check out the Doc McStuffins and Sherlock Holmes Exhibit and I tell you that no one wanted to leave.
Before everything, Liberty Science Center and MomTrends hosted a nice breakfast sit down for us to mingle and have fun before the real activities. The children got to discover how ice cream is made using half and half cream, vanilla extract, 4 cups of sugar, and LIQUID NITROGEN!
When I tell you that this ice cream was the fluffiest deliciousness I ever had, please believe me. Even my daughter wanted more. After discovering how to make ice cream, we learned about Bernoulli’s Principle through the use of toilet paper! Both of these experiments are part of the LSC’s 12 Days of Science.
The TP Blizzard machine that will blow every day at noon from now until January 1st in Governors Hall was inspired by Bernoulli’s principle, which states that a rise in pressure in a flowing fluid must always be accompanied by a decrease in speed. This machine demonstrates this principle via toilet paper! After this fun and scientific education, It was time for a check-up at the new Doc McStuffins Toy Hospital Exhibition which is presented in both English and Spanish!
Based on Disney Junior’s award-winning TV series Doc McStuffins, the exhibit transported us from Liberty Science Center to Doc’s backyard clinic and the McStuffins Toy Hospital.
Gabby ran in with her bestie and they were so happy. They operated on a robot dragon, Groomed and gave X-Rays to the pets, as well as giving checkups and feeding the doll babies in the McStuffins Nursery.
There are so many imaginative play opportunities and hands-on activities that teach kids important life lessons about health and wellness. Doc McStuffins: The Exhibit is included in the general admission ticket and will be there through Jan. 27, 2019.
The 2nd traveling exhibit that is at the Liberty Science Center is one that truly made my heart flutter… The International Exhibition Of Sherlock Holmes.
Though I haven’t completed my College studies, many of you would be surprised to know that I was studying Forensic Science! Because I’m in love with it, I just HAD to go into the International Exhibition Of Sherlock Holmes and put my crime-solving skills to the test…
I was so excited to check out different stations that would later come together to help me solve the crime of 221B Baker Street. I got to Follow the footprints, examine spatter patterns, decipher Morse Code, find missing items, and use my own powers of observation to crack the case in this seriously awesome can’t-miss exhibition!
The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes is available with the purchase of a Combination Pass or Premium Pass and will be there until May 27th, 2019
I can’t recommend the Liberty Science Center ENOUGH! This place is literally the perfect day trip for the whole family and with a new activity or exhibition opening up and changing every few months, you’ll always have something to look forward to.
