The LeapTV is Only $59!

Disclosure: I received a LeapTV Console for Free in exchange for our honest and unbiased review. I purchased additional games on my own. Opinions stated in this post are 100% honest and my own.

I’ve wanted the LeapTV for my daughter ever since I saw the prototype. It’s seriously an amazing game console for your small child. The recommended age on the box says 3 to 8. However, children just a little younger and even a little older still enjoy playing with the LeapTV (depending on the game). We set it up for game play during our Sofia the first play date and it was a hit here’s what we thought…

We got the LeapTV console from one of the lovely leapfrog reps at the last TTPM holiday showcase. A few days later I headed to my local Toys R Us and Best Buy stores to obtain a few of the LeapTV games. I was able to get Sophia the first, Jake and the Neverland pirates, Dora and friends, as well as some other fun games for the console.

The girls got to play with the LeapTV at the #DearSofia playdate and they were excited. At first we tried out the Sofia the first cartridge, but it was a little too advanced for our young gamers. We moved on to the LeapTV sports game and this one was a hit. They loved being able to chop wood in the karate game, skateboarding in levels, as well as crawling up in the rope team. There are so many more games, that I’m sure your child will be very entertained for a while.

The LeapTV allows your kids to learn through motion with over 100 games and videos. Kids can jump, dance, and so much more as they learn skills in reading, mathematics, science and problem solving. What I love about Leapfrog Game cartridges, downloads, and videos is that they are Educator-Approved! I’m put a little at ease knowing that my kid is learning and having fun at the same time.

Check out this (rather blurry) video of the girls Karate chopping everything via the LeapTV…

Overall, Leapfrog’s LeapTV is a cool console to get for the little ones who always want to be just like the older gamers in the house. If you want to buy the LeapTV console to put under the Christmas tree, then now is the perfect time! It’s currently on sale for $59.00 over on Amazon.com!

For the Limited Edition Black Version, You’d have to shop at Toys R Us since it seems to be a Toys R Us Exclusive.
Isn’t she lovely?

  1. We actually own this and tbh my kids couldn't care less about it. Madison played with it a few times but it didn't hold her attention much. I've always loved LeapFrog products and actually own a few of them but something about this one just made my kids say no. 🙂
