Just Keep swinging at Life’s Toughest Curveballs ~ Henry and Me Movie Premiere!

Sharing is caring!

Disclaimer: I was invited to this event as Media, I was not
compensated in anyway. As
always my opinions are honest and 100% mine.

Two weeks back, the #heartwarming film Henry & Me had a red carpet premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater in NYC hosted by The Moms! My guest couldn’t make it so I ended up attending the premiere by myself. The Movie is based on a young baseball loving boy and avid New
York Yankee fan named Jack . Jack who
is battling cancer and about to undergo surgery, is met  by a guardian
angel named Henry (played by Richard Gere). Henry takes Jack on several different
trips in a flying car. The young Jack begins to travel back in Yankee history meeting many Yankee greats such as Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Thurman Munson, and Lefty
Gomez!

The voices for the film were provided by Richard
Gere, Chaz Palminteri (I LOVED HIM in a Bronx Tale!!! Still my favorite movie), Danny Aiello, Luis Guzman, Cyndi Lauper, Paul
Simon, Austin Williams, Hank Steinbrenner and many of The New York
Yankees! Henry & Me The Movie, is set to be released worldwide on
September 9th on DVD and Digital services such as Video on Demand ,
Amazon instant video , ITUNES and others. The DVD will also be available for sale at
all Yankee home games.

Proceeds from EVERY sale of the movie will be donated to many wonderful charities, all close to the New York Yankees and those who were involved with the film, such a great way to give back! After the screening The Moms did a talk back that I was unable to stay for since I had to pick up my little one, but I would have loved to hear more about the movie from the stars.

I can truly say that this movie had me in tears many times. I believe
everyone should own this movie (Along with a few boxes of tissues).
#HenryandMe teaches you that no matter what curve balls life throws at
you, Never stop swinging!
