I was invited to join Walmart‘s team of baby experts for an intimate look at this year’s favorite baby items. Walmart brought the Southern Tradition of a “Sip and See” up here to NYC by hosting this fun open house to introduce some of the newest arrivals in the Walmart Baby Department. For those who don’t know, a Sip & See is an event where new moms introduce family and friends to their baby.
As I walked into the adorable suite, I couldn’t help but feel an amazing homely feeling. The den area was filled with so many great toys for little ones to play with. Many of which are readily available at Walmart. My kid found herself right at home.
As we continued our walk around the place, we saw all the amazing Parent’s Choice options. Rice Rusks, Pouches, Yogurt Melts and so much more! There were some tasty new flavors that even my 5-year-old enjoyed.
In the living space, we came across the “Traveling With Baby” area which was filled with stroller options, Car seats, diaper bags, and essentials for every type of parent. From tall parents to short parents and from air-Travel families to city travelers, the options were endless. The next stop in the home was the upstairs section where we got to see all things Potty, Wellness, Nursery, and Diapering…
In Wellness we got a chance to see a few of our favorites such as Frieda Baby, safety first and a newcomer that goes by oilogic! Yes, essential oils designed just for babies.
In Potty, we caught a glimpse of a cool new potty that makes an image appear when your child tinkles. To help with this stage, Walmart Baby also has a new design of Toddler Training Pants. Paw Patrol is now the new face (and tail) of Parent’s Choice Toddler Pants for both girls and boys.
We moved on to Nursery and diapering and were left amazed. Not only because we saw the newest products from brands we know and love, but because Walmart’s own brand has gone above and beyond to cater to all stages of parenthood. From Cotton wipes to wipes with Micellar water, these products have become a staple at every end of the house.
Hey, there was even a surprise animal appearance! A sloth which was so adorable and actually pretty speedy … contrary to what I’ve always heard.
