When I was a kid, I loved sitting in front of the big box Television watching classic Disney movies. The Jungle book was definitely fun to watch with catchy tunes to stay stuck in your head. I mean who can forget about the “Bare Necessities” or that jumping fun “I Wanna Be Like You” Tune? Fast forward to 2016 and it’s Live-Action everywhere!
In this all-new, live-action epic adventure
about Mowgli, a man-cub raised by a family of wolves, Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when
fearsome tiger Shere Khan, who bears the scars of Man,
promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Mowgli is urged
to abandon the only home he’s ever known, and therefore embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided
by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera, and the free-spirited
bear we all love, Baloo.

Along the way, Mowgli encounters

at heart, including Kaa, the python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking

Mowgli is my favorite from the movie.
Loved reading the Jungle Book book when I was a little kid and the movie is so fabulous too! I love how they remake movies and keep that excitement going for future generations!

we have watched this like 5 times since we got it. my kids love it.
That's really lovely, I think it's great that they now have a DVD! Now we can watch it any time we feel like it. Especially since we love movie nights at home!

I was blown away by this film – I was totally prepared to dislike it, and not dig the live action portions, but it was done SO well, and was so charming! Such a wonderful film.
