I received this stylish LG Pulse to try out on Virgin Mobile’s New Custom plan. Virgin Mobile Custom is
perfect for families on a tight budget or your tweens/teens that needs their first
cellphone. The base plan starts at just $6.98! From there you build and
add services as needed. You can even adjust the plan through out the month and not get charged extra as long as you stay within the account balance.



My niece no longer lives in the city and where she resides, a bus picks her up and drops her off at school. We felt like she needed a phone in case of emergencies. Being the Chatter box that she is, she talks and texts A LOT with her friends. The LG Pulse’s home button pulsates different colors when you are charging it up or there’s a message. My niece found that to be a super great feature. Being that I am a super Picture Person, I had to test out the camera before passing it along and I must say it takes pretty good shot. When it comes to videos and listening to music, The sound quality is pretty good as well. We’re very pleased with this phone so far. 

I think my most favorite feature of this LG phone from Virgin Mobile
is the Virgin Mobile Custom section that allows me to create my very own
personalized plan that suits my family’s needs and budget. Without
being stuck in a contract for two years, I’m free of those ghastly
Hidden fees and taxes. With Virgin Mobile Custom I create MY plan MY way
with
features That I want. I am STRONGLY considering switching over to Virgin
Mobile Custom for myself! Plans start at $6.98 for 20 minutes of talk time and 20 texts. There is no data plan at that price point. The basic plan would be perfect for a child who only needs the phone
for emergency purposes. Even my Grandfather would benefit from that phone being that he is way over the whole social media thing.



We were provided with a $35 Top-Up card to activate and customize our phone whichever way we chose. I know that my niece Loves to talk, but prefers to text more and that she’s always watching these silly youtube videos so here’s what I went with:

• 250 Talk Minutes for $3.00
• 750 Texts for $6.50
• 1GB of Data for $18.50
• Monthly Line Fee of $6.98

Leaving her total for the month at $34.98 with 2 cents to carry over into the next month. Let’s say in the middle of the month we realize that she needs more Texts and Talk as oppose to Data, then we go right into our customizing center on the device and switch it up. You’ll see at the top whether or not you’re going over the balance available.

With our current Family plan we have Unlimited everything, but no one uses their data or texts more than me. Even If we tried to ask for a plan with fewer talk, text, and data it STILL ends up costing over $200 a month for 3 lines. I mean would YOU pay that amount when you see there is a cheaper alternative?
