Back in September, I attended the 3rd Annual Fashion Forward Conference hosted by MomTrends. It was so fashionably fun and I got to enjoy it with many other Bloggers.
When we arrived, we were handed a name badge that had a little sticker in the back. Depending on the stickers you had, you were in for a giveaway prize. Although my badge didn’t have a giveaway sticker, I still came out winning. (details on that later)
The conference was held from 9am-3pm and I was very excited to arrive early! I started off by getting a sparkling Drink from the Kevita brand and then made my way to The Boodle Box Table. I can’t wait to post about that cool subscription company for kids and tweens.
The Fashion show wouldn’t start for another hour and half, so we were encouraged to mingle with all the different brand reps. My first stop was the Dansko table. Would you believe I had never really known anything about them besides their name? Now I am in LOVE with their footwear! Check out one my Dansko Reviews HERE.
I am the type of person who rarely eats breakfast before I leave the house so I was happy to see treats and bars by the CVS brand, Golden Emblem Abound. Trail Mix, Fruit bars, granola bars, rice chips, popcorn, etc…
Not being a coffee drinker gets really tricky as a blogger. However, I needed to quench my thirst so I stopped by Chevy‘s Cappuccino station where barista artist Michael Breach drew our adorable faces in cappuccino foam! So cool.
Dyson was also in attendance showing us their super Lightweight and Cute DC59 Vacuum! It sure Cleans up right. With the snap of a Polaroid and a post to social media, we were entered into a Dyson giveaway.
Next up was the fashion show! The Kids strutted down the red carpet and their Fun Halloween wear by Spirit Halloween!
We even got to see the super cuteness of the Matilda Jane Clothing collection!
When the kids are out the way, the Grown ups will play! A group of wonderful bloggers got in touch with their stylish catwalk side and worked it. They showed off clothing and accessories from J.Jill, MiracleSuit, Gwynnie Bee, Cabi, and even Dyson! (So Funny!)
Hearing many of the keynote speakers, I learned a lot. I’m currently working on using some of their tips and following their advice to make my blog better!
There were so many amazing things at the 2014 Fashion Forward Conference that it’s impossible to fit in one post… You just had to be there. At the end of it all, we left with an amazing J.Jill tote filled with awesome goodies (review on the contents coming soon) as well as a beautiful bouquet of White roses!
We’ve come to my final words on this post. Remember when I said that although I didn’t win in the giveaway I still came out winning? Well here’s what I was given when I had to go back to the event location for my bag that I had left there…..
Yesssssssssssss! That’s the AM08 Pedestal Fan! My Daughter finds it so amazing and so do I. No more air conditioning!
