I know that when we were younger, everyone would love to find their name on that little key chain, ornament, pen, or anything else that was personalized. However, if your parents were the type that wanted you to be the most uniquely named being on the planet, then you had a lot of trouble finding any. My niece for example, her name is Kilssy and I can guarantee you that anywhere you go you will never ever find her name. I See Me! has created the perfect website for you to find that special gift for that very uniquely named little person in your life.

The My Very Own Name book is not your generic type of personalized book where your child’s name will only appear twice throughout the entire book. In My Very Own Name, the animals in the kingdom are coming together to celebrate the birth of baby. They decide that they need to find the perfect name and proceed to spell out each letter of the child’s name using animal and letter illustrations.

The Graphics are truly beautiful! Some are silly and some are elegant. When I first went through the book I thought “wow, no animals are repeated!” Being that Gabby’s full name contains 5 letter E’s, the boot did infact repeat the Eagle. The sentence under both pictures were cute and let us know that they are aware of the repetition. No repetition of sentences, however, is always a plus!

The only Graphic my mother didn’t like was the Gorilla at the beginning of the name spelling. He looks angry and wild. I would’ve preferred the Giraffe for the first letter, but that would not stop me from purchasing this beautiful book again.

This creates the perfect “birth story” for your child. Making them feel more special than they already are. The book teaches your child how to spell their First and Last name. For $4.95 more you can also include your child’s Middle name, if they have one. They can also learn little facts about certain animals using the Animal Encyclopedia at the end of every My Very Own Name story. The fact that the sentences all rhyme makes for a great musical story (if you feel like singing silly).

Buy It: My Very Own Name retails for $34.95. You can purchase your own Here. *If you order by 12/18 and choose Air delivery, it WILL arrive by Christmas! To get $5 off Air shipping enter code AIR (Expires 12/18)

  1. I think I would pick the Night Before Christmas. Both of my girls have names that I cant usually find, Tierney and Emmaleigh, so I know how difficult it can be to get personalized (premade) items.

  2. The Princess on, maybe, for my 5 year old girl? The My Very Own Name book is super special!! I don't know! I'm expecting baby number three, so it would be hard to choose!!!
