A few days ago, I was invited to meet with (FDNY Foundation Chairman) Stephen Ruzow, (FDNY Foundation Executive Director) Jean O’ Shea, (Fire Zone Director) Nerisha Rivero, and Lieutenant Mancusto (Fire Safety Spokesperson) at the FDNY Fire Zone. It was a time to learn all about fire safety and how to stay safe in this winter weather.
Also in attendance at the event were a few of the AccuWeather staff including Chief Executive Officer, Barry Lee Myers, (Chief Marketing Officer) John Dokes and Meteorologist, Laura Velasquez. We were going to hear all about being #AccuWeatherReady.

December 2, 2016 at 3:40 amWe need to get a plan in case something happens. We are zero predent prepared and we should be 100% prepared since we are in tornado valley. We have been very lucky though not to get hit where we are.
